Our 3rd Annual “Run for Recovery” had an amazing turnout with support from friends, family, and PricePro customers.

With approximately 150 runners, this was our biggest run yet! It was amazing to see all the WelcomeHome student families come out to support their sons and daughters in recovery as they participated in the 5k and 10k run, cheering them on and running/walking along side them.

I had the opportunity to MC the event. We had so many awesome bands, including: Jennifer Morrison and “Cracked Wheat,” DRS BBoy Crew, our WelcomeHome sister Meghan Siems, with her friends Gavin Youngash, Kirstin Wild, and David Hudson, two WelcomeHome brothers, Kyle and Voitek, “Joe Amouzou and the Safari League,” our FLV church band “She Says Electric,” DJ Callie, and Quickness. We would like to thank them all for supporting the WelcomeHome Addiction Recovery Academy and for giving us such amazing music!

We would also like to thank our amazing suppliers who sponsored the free community barbecue and concert.

Recovery is definitely a family affair and to have most of the program family come out and see the change in their sons and daughters was truly inspiring. Together, WelcomeHome and PricePro will continue to change lives, and we hope you will all be back next year to join us in the cause!
